We’ve been asked “Why CopyCat?” Aside from the obvious play on words and the fact that it does fit my sense of humor… I have to give all credit to a friend of mine from college. While visiting Trefin in Indianapolis one year she had asked me to explain exactly what it was that I did. After I explained to her what I did for a living she said, “Hey, someday if you have your own company you’ll have to name it Copycat.” So when it came time to name my company I couldn’t think of anything that fit better and the name stuck. How many people can say that a friend named their company before it even existed? |
